ABOUT MILOS
Milos, the Island of Venus, is located in the Southern Aegean Sea and belongs to the Western Cyclades, with a big natural harbor in the Gulf of Adamas, and a long coast line, including numerous beautiful beaches and amazing landscapes and natural sites. Its geological nature is the main reason for its fabulous variety of colors and landscapes. Milos has a rich history with testimonies to be viewed and visited all over the island.

Over recent years Milos has become more and more popular as a holiday destination. This is due to the island’s marvelous beaches, the natural harbor, an ideal port and safe haven for sailing boats and cruisers, and also the steady development of the region’s infrastructure and tourism industry. Milos does not only offer options for swimming and water-sports holidays, but many interesting activities also beyond tourist high season, in particular during spring and autumn.

Milos can be reached by ferryboat from Piraeus all around the year, by fast boats and catamarans depending on the season, or by plane from Athens at least once per day. For time schedules you should contact local travel agencies.
